Restaurant Recon was founded in 2019 by hospitality professionals who had spent years inside the industry — across operations, finance, analytics, guest experience, and leadership — working at scale and on the ground. Our consultants have led food and beverage operations for global hospitality brands, managed multi-unit restaurant groups, built financial and operational models, designed guest experience frameworks, and implemented the systems that keep complex hospitality businesses running

Like much of the hospitality industry, Restaurant Recon was derailed by COVID before the platform could fully take shape. In the years since, the industry has fought to recover — only to find itself facing an even more defining challenge: how to balance increasing automation, data, and efficiency with the human connection that hospitality is built on.

Today, Restaurant Recon is relaunching with intention. We bring together advisory, data-driven insight, and cultural perspective to support operators navigating real tradeoffs — from P&L pressure and labor strategy to guest experience and brand integrity. Apparel serves as an entry point for community and culture, while advisory remains the core of the work.

The platform is designed to grow deliberately. The mission remains unchanged: to help hospitality leaders make better decisions — and to protect the human experience that makes the industry matter in the first place.
